Better than the Best, by James Oh, is an inspirational masterpiece. His book is full of encouragement and direction. I found sound wisdom to break free of restrictions that have kept me from being my best. I like this quote from his book: "If you continuously compete with others,You become Bitter.
But if you continuously compete with yourself, You become Better." Highly recommended. Glenn Langohr

I have read quite a few books that promote the topic of self-growth and professionalism and Better than the Best takes the cake! James Oh does a magnificent job at telling his story while revealing those little nuggets of wisdom we all need from time to time. My favorite quote in this book is: "to unlock your inner power is to stop resisting." Wow!!

Page after page you will find original and thought provoking content. Personally, I will be returning to this book for motivation. It is inspiration, life coaching and a refreshing drink of water all inside one book. I highly recommend Better than the Best if you are looking for motivation to pursue and achieve your goals.

GUEST POST ON THE TRUE MEANING OF BANKRUPTCY

To many people in Malaysia, being bankrupt is really not that different from being broke or being without cash. To them, it’s all them same – “I need money, I can’t afford food, basic necessities or gas.”

The truth though, is that although both brokenness and bankruptcy denote a state of financial difficulty, being broke is heaven when compared to being bankrupt. When you are broke, that’s between you and your bank account. When you’re bankrupt, it you against the world. With a debt of as little as RM, 30,001, a judge can declare you bankrupt through a court order and this will be public knowledge. In addition to this, the few privileges that you never take notice of, are taken away from you in an instant.

The infographic seeks to explain the true meaning of bankruptcy, together with its consequences, especially when it comes to Malaysia.

BOOK REVIEW - HOW TO LIVE A FABULOUS LIFE IN CHRIST

BOOK REVIEW – HOW TO LIVE A FABULOUS LIFE IN CHRIST
BY SABRINA C ANDERSON

This is a fabulous and fascinating book of its kind which I have just read. This book offers 10 sound and solid lessons on Spiritual Growth every Christian cannot afford to miss, both male and female. I am able to see with clarity and confidence as to how the author was transformed from her Christian walk journey. This inspirational personal touch story, filled with relevant scripture verses and practicable lessons make this book extraordinary as the author put extra mile over the crowd, makes her book really stand out from the crowd. I was very fascinated with how the author had been transformed and gained strength to overcome all the obstacles to become a happy, purpose filled and wise person. This uplifting story also has a very strong grounding on faith and hope in God. I must say that this book is a wonderful story about enduring hope, love and faith. Rich with emotions and sensations which will keep the readers awake. Don’t take my word for it, just grasp the book and enjoy it,

Her writing talents together with her well crafted skills brilliantly and creatively combined, really kept her book so lively. Her bold and brave action in sharing her ugly, painful and hurtful story is worthy of praises. I am deeply delighted to see how she can move so freely to convey Life’s message in such a powerful and insightful manner. Her story is full of detailed expressions and emotions and cover varies aspects of her life - a real great insight as to what truly make her tougher, stronger and wiser. It really convinced her to surrender herself to be led by holy spirit. Amazingly well done, I must say. This is a quick, easy and good read, yet filled with much sensation for those who loves colourful and interesting stories.

There is a good reason for Sabrina C Anderson to share her own gifts and experience to shed some light especially to those who do not have any clue to overcome their challenges. Her belief in Christ and focus on Christ led her to live a fabulous and fascinated life in Christ through Christ. Well reflected in her writing and guided by the Holy Spirit. This book is truly enlightening with God’s wisdom. It definitely serves far more than any self-help book.

I received a review copy of the book for the purpose of writing a fair and honest review and no other compensation.

“How to live a Fabulous Life in Christ” is a book of its kind which provides us with more than one dimension. It can help us view things not only in the physical sense, but also from God's perspective. And more importantly, how we can align our thoughts with God's wisdom and live a live exactly as the title of this book. It serves wide and diverse needs especially for those who want to be exposed and learn the highest and divine perspective on life. Don’t take my word for it, check it out yourself.

This book also gives you a deep understanding of growing up in Christ. It gives you a solid, profound and sound understanding for not returning to old habits led by our own fresh.

What I enjoyed most about this book is its fascinating way of living life in Christ which rooted deeply in our souls. It reflects the beauty of spreading the amazing little seed in readers' hearts and souls, which is often underestimated. That’s what makes this book truly worth reading.

As you read through the book, you will be able to visualise the struggle of “what makes it painful is not letting go of what stands between you and God” exactly prescribed by the Author, The war between our sinful nature and spiritual nature which cause the growing pains. This book is not meant to persuade or dissuade you – it’s meant to spread the gospel and live in a live in a way that shines and glorifies the Living and Mighty God.

This book is highly recommended for great reading. It is definitely well deserved as a Christmas' and festive gifts. The Title of the book is Short, Simple and Precise to the point.

“How to Live a Fabulous Life in Christ” is definitely a noble goal, because it spreads the value of Christianity and prospers them not to lose focus on God and Living a Life gifted from Loving God. I must say that the reward of its wisdom is far beyond word. Marvelous! In short, you will be empowered by its wisdom. Allowing God to be the driving force of your life will enable you to walk in peace daily.

This book is also ideal for anyone who lost of direction in living life without vanity, and dislike heavy reading.

Last, but not least, this book would make a lovely valuable and meaningful Christmas present.

I must deeply thank Sabrina for this great book and also deeply delighted that the Author finally found her peace. I pray that Lord will continue to use her mightily so as to transform abundance of people for His glory.

SELF-PUBLISHING VS VANITY PUBLISHING. CONFUSED?

Self-publishing vs vanity publishing. Confused?

I often get letters or phone calls from confused and sometimes worried authors, unsure whether or not to sign a contract with a publisher who's raved about their book idea but is asking for a 'contribution towards the cost of publishing the book'. The amount varies, but frequently it runs into the thousands.
Authors owe it to themselves to be very clear on one point - traditional publishers never ask the author for 'a contribution'. Traditional publishers only take on work they believe is worth investing their own money in, confident it'll make a return when the book hits the shelves. Indeed, this is precisely the reason (or one of) it's so difficult for new authors to get published. The publisher has to be sure that the book willsell
Vanity publishers are cunning. They know many authors will be worn down by rejection. They know the elation authors will feel to finally receive a glowing report about their manuscript. However, once you've signed your name on the dotted line, the vanity publisher will take your manuscript, take your money and print several (usually poor quality) copies of your book. They won't consult you and they won't offer any help marketing or distributing the book. The vanity publisher isn't interested in selling copies of the book, it doesn't need to - they've already made their profit from the hefty 'contribution' fee they charged the author.
Consequently, vanity publishers have no relationships with bookshops, in fact some bookshops plain refuse to stock the books they produce. So, more often that not, the author ends up several thousand pounds down with a pile of books they cannot sell. Of course these companies don't advertise themselves as vanity publishers, most refer to themselves as 'self publishers'. But there is a vast difference between the way they operate and the way a reputable self-publisher operates.

HEALTH IS WEALTH

VERY WARM WELCOME TO THIS UPLIFTING BLOG,

It is an undeniable truth that HEALTH is our greatest wealth and asset. No matter how much Money, Fame and Success we have it means nothing without our health. Ironically, you often see people spend more efforts and times on their assets such as car than their body and mind. I must admit my past mistake of sending my car regularly for service as per the recommended service manual rather than paying attention to my body and mind.

One of the frequently asked questions I received is how I stay so healthy all the time. The simple truth is that I spend a lot of money and time on being healthy. I never regret and always consider it to be one of my wisest investments. I have learned that I must be fair to my body and take good care of it so that my body can support me and create vitality, energy, and good health for me! Similarly, it also slows down my aging process, which I consider another bonus and great motivator to me.

As you may be well aware, I believe that prevention is always better than cure. As such, the hard truth is I have to invest in myself, no matter what. I must ensure that I am in good shape before I can help others, in line with the safety announcement made in the flight. You may think it is a selfish act, which I did initially. After my second serious thought, it makes lots of sense to me now. Choice is always yours. You can either choose to spend money; on good body maintenance and prevention now or use your money later, trying to recover from ill health. You will reap what you sow according to the natural law.

Regardless of what your current state of health is at this moment, you have the power to improve it if you choose and believe so. Every day we come in contact with millions of bacteria, allergens, viruses, and fungi and sad to say that only the tiniest fraction of these may lead to disease. This is a reality, which we cannot avoid it, but we can do something to prevent it.

It is interesting to note that people who consider themselves “too busy to get sick” are known to have above average health, while those who worry excessively about disease fall into poor health more often. Likewise, I have often said and don't mind repeating here "worry does not solve problem but worsen the problem'. So why worry? That is my question.

Never too late and start NOW and be good to yourself. Do something of great favour to your body, regardless of whether it’s getting more sleep, some exercise, healthy food, or some fun time! Equally important is while you are taking better care of your body you could also be feeding your mind with positive uplifting information. One of it is reading the materials in this blog, which is written from time to time with the main objective to lift you up, as its name suggests.

Happy reading and work toward achieving your great health and wealth.
